Renal cell carcinoma is a form of kidney cancer. There are
thousands of these cases each year and about one third of them result
in a fatality. It commonly attacks older men more than females.
Symptoms can include pain in the back or abdominal area or
blood in the urine. Sometimes it is detected by an enlarged testicle.
The prognosis for survival is better than 50%
if it is caught and treated in the early stages.
